Documents you can trust
TrustDocs are secure, tamper-resistant documents that you can verify digitally and safeguard against document fraud.
Use trustdocs.gov.sg for additional assurance that your document is supported by the Singapore Government.
Why use TrustDocs?
When you open TrustDocs using a trusted verifier, you can be confident that the documents have been checked before you view them.
That’s the unique security feature of TrustDocs - unlike PDFs or other files, TrustDocs cannot be opened directly on your device and need to be viewed online so that we can verify that it is authentic.
What makes TrustDocs trustworthy?
Document Integrity
We ensure that the document remains unchanged and has not been altered.Issuance Status
We check that the document has been issued, and has not been revoked.Verification of Issuer's Identity
At trustdocs.gov.sg, we verify that the document is issued by the Singapore Government.
How do TrustDocs work?
When a TrustDoc is created, it is assigned a unique code and secured with a special key.
When a TrustDoc is opened on a trusted verifier, the special key unlocks the code and verifies that it matches the original. The verifier also confirms the issuer identity before displaying the document for you to view.
This process, known as cryptography, employs unique codes and special keys to ensure the document’s authenticity while safeguarding its contents.
